Hi guys, After a price-check here - hoping there might be some collectors amongst us to give me an idea on what kind of price I should be asking for the following sign.. It's a 3 piece garage / servo workshop type of sign. 7.8m long, and made from 1/2" thick fibrous-cement type sheeting. 400mm high. Has mounting holes. This is from the Golden Fleece era (pre-Caltex). Has some paint worn away, but that's half the appeal for these type of collectables right! Any ideas?? |

These old signs can be worth good money but all depends on the rarity of the sign ect.. Maybe just put it on ebay at a price that seems fair and see what happens, or call up shannons and they may be able to sugest a value and aution it off for you. Worth paying them a fee if your goimg to get top $$ At aution. |

Yeah thanks Charlie. If the sign was a 'brand name' such as Mobil or something, I'm sure it'd be worth some coin. I don't have high hopes for this one, but just want to make sure I don't give it away if it is worth something. |
