My Ride:
After hearing of an acquaintance whose 6 year old 90% tread Bridgestones delaminated over the weekend, and Bridgestones response being "you should replace all tyres after 5 years", there has been much discussion over how long tyres should be kept before replacment.

Knowing some of you guys have tyres in storage, I thought I'd post up this link on how to store tyres for maximum life:

Interesting article. I've heard the main primary killer is sunlight, but there's heaps more to consider after reading that. I have mates who have wrapped up their slicks in gladwrap.

yeah im continually dissapointed mine keep delaminating even when they are brand new!! i get about 4 kms out of em.

on a serious note they do go hard over time and dry out.
