engine bay brake lines all done and run down back of firewall, and the splitter block now lives down under the car off chassis.

Well its been a while since an update
its also been a while since i did anything on the monaro
we had to pack it up as we recently moved out to cockatoo
pics are of the car back together full of sh*t for the move
seen better days but at least underneath is comeplete and brakes are all done

we have started the engine replacement plan
after long days of thinking of different ways to go
chev, big block small block, crate motor

we decided to go with the parts left over from the big bang.
So a 355 holden is to be built again.
we now have a VT roller block all 4 bolted ready for assembly

Heads are at higgins racing being repaired and re assembled.

We have a new bigger camshaft from COMP Cams
note valve lift is calculated at 1.5 rocker ratio
so valve lift will be corrected to 1.65 ratio and with valve lift of
719 thou and 693 thou minus lash.
110 lobe centre installed at 106 intake centre, so hopefully more torque without sacrificing any rpm as that would be to hard to deal with LOL

As the standard oil pick up was the detrimental failure we have opted to go back to George Haddad for a custom russell sump
that will hurt the pocket i am sure.
