Hmm plans just changed a bit - Torrie I was cruising with is coming straight from the city as well after all.

Just got home, had a great night. I spent most of the night sitting with Ian D, Brett & Deb and a few other friends, trying to chat a little when the open piped big boys weren't racing :P

Loads of cars as expected. Don't know what it was like being a competitor exactly - I saw some cars get quite a few runs in still but the waiting lines were massive, especially for scrutineering, and the pits seemed pretty packed

Not only that, but getting IN in the first place was a nightmare. Cars were lined up on the side of the highway for a good 10-15 minutes - competitors and spectators in the same basket. Once the spectators got through the gates it was all fine, no real queues for tickets etc or even toilets, so that all ran smoothly.

Musta been a profitable night, hopefully it's not the last one for some time

Just got home myself, was an awesome night and it was absolutely packed. Got there with Tony around 5:20 and it was already packed then.

Congrats to Mish as before I left I saw him run a 10.9@121mph and they let him back into the staging lanes so hopefully he went better on the next runs. :)

I'm looking forward to the next Calder meet as I'll take mine out for a blast and see how it goes.

yeah I just got back home, :shock: dam it was packed, don't know how they are going to do easternats if it's like that just for friday night drags.

Yes what a top night, But by geez it was packed, we waited in line for tickes for half an hour.
and were parked and the very back of the furthest car park they have.

Well done mish on the 10 sec pass. Car looked very tough leaving the line.
