Eastside Cruisers

Hey all, I know it's not very appropriate for this club but you may know of others interested.

I've organised this cruise but the day it was held on was pretty much a wash out but did get 40 odd cars at the first meet point, it was called short in Yarra Glen due to the rain hence it's having a re-run on the 1st of November.

My mate showed me all the pics from the meetpoint of the last event (I was working and couldn't make it). I'll try and come along just to have a look at the cars on the next one. Gotta love the classic jap stuff!

Im moving house atm so pretty flat out if i get a chance i will wash up the 1600 and come for a look see

1600...you never told me about that!

My best mate has two one green with plates (datmad) and the other one has club reg but most of its fibreglass,cage ect both cars have real big cams,webbers,lot of head work we went on a datsun cruise not long ago
i got to drive the race one was lots of fun sometimes if we have nothing to do we head out for a cruise.

Thanks to all those who joined in for the first Chrome Bumper Japanese Cruise! I along with everyone I spoke to enjoyed being around a mixed group of cars and like minded people, by the sounds of it I'll have to run more similar events in the near future.
For the record, I counted roughly 50 cars at the first meet point.

Looks like a sensational turnout, and lots of cool rides. 6th pic down, is that a Lexus quad cam V8 conversion? What's it sound like?

I expected a larger turnout, closer to 100 would have been nice....next time.
Yep that's a Lexus motor dumped into a Mazda HB 929, real nice and neat fit too. Didn't get a chance to hear it, but I know they do sound good, one of the better sounding V8's out there.

Looks like you had a good turnout Max. 50 cars is good for your first cruise.
