Eastside Cruisers

Just throwing the offer out there... If anyone is bored & wanting something to do... come down to Sandown race track Sunday as I will be heading down to give the commodore a bit of a run around the track. There will be a big variety of cars there, mainly small turbo AWD setups (Evo's \ WRXs \ Skylines - ok, this isnt as small), but there will also be quite a few BMW M3's \ Commodores \ a couple of Porsche's & rx7's also. There will also be a Z06 Corvette and a Audi RS5 coming along also. The weather is looking a little crappy so far, but hopefully the rain will hold off. the rain could make for some exciting action to be seen if the track is greasy. :

If you do come down, be sure to stop by the pits to say g'day. As far as I know entry will be free and you would enter from the back of the pit garages (not via the main grand stand). Unfortunately, entries have closed for this even a couple of weeks back, but If anyone is interested in future track days - check out this link; .

Racing will start from around 10am, I will be there from about 8.00 & the day concludes @ 5.30ish.

Sounds like it will be good fun, I know about half a dozen of the people on the list so would be interesting to see how they all went. Not sure if I can make it down for a look though but I will let you know.

ah kool Brett, as you saw, greg & mario from VCM will be there - so that will be fun to compare lap times with them.
Marty, gotta love drift practice in the commo.. hehehe. just getting ready for the DECA day coming up in October (maybe I will take my bald tyres out to have the most fun without wasting expensive tyres ($500 each)

You remember the guy in the RS5 that was up at Heathcote when we were racing? He'll be there (Craig Ferdinands) and I also know Aaron Barnes in the EVO so it will also be interesting to see how you lap against those cars...
