I was 50/50 on going up for a run but I need to make a few more changes to the car before I go for another attempt.
Hopefully our Eastside Drag day comes up at some point so atleast I can focus on getting it ready for that... (hint hint committee)

I'm pretty keen to do some times in my LJ, car is definitely going heaps better since the last time I went to Heathcote when I got sh*t times and car splattered with locusts. Diff ratio changed from 3.25 to 3.55, LSD installed, triple Strombergs are now fully opening, wheels bigger from 13inch to 14inch, gone from 205 rear tyres to 215's, and Hornet scoop is getting fresh air in and cooling engine. All that has to be worth at least 1 second! Upcoming Test & Tune days: Sunday 4 Sept (also Fathers Day Show & Shine, Old Gippstown, Moe) Sunday 18 Sept (I'm driving to Toranafest in Newcastle with Vic Torana Club) Sunday 2, 16, 30 Oct Sunday 27 Nov Sunday 4 & 18 Dec I will probably go to an October one. |

I think we should organise a club day for March-ish next year... I reckon that is the best time of year to run them. I'd like to head up before then though with my new set up and see how it all goes though (just on street tyres)... Probably more likely to be November/December for me. Once all the bugs get sorted. |
