Eastside Cruisers

What an awesome day as usual, thanks heaps to the committee for their efforts. I can't believe how good the weather turned out after all the forecasts of a terrible day. I had a mixed weekend as I had a blast tearing up tyres and throwing the keys to my wife Dani who followed suit and did some skids of her own. My day did end up early though as my gearbox gave up and I only had 1st and 2nd after some seriously fun burnouts where I looked down at the speedo and saw it heading north of 220km/h.

As you can see from one of Matt's pics I needed to limp it into town and get RACV to take it home. Big thanks to Rob Spiller (he broke his engine mounts so needed to limp home as well) who stuck around with us and waited for the truck so that he could give myself, Dani and our daughter a lift back home. Thanks also to Brenton for taking Dani and I out for a spin in TUF 253 as that put a smile back on my face after breaking my car.

The car is back home safe and waiting to get fixed but I just need to have it sorted out before the Drag Day as I'm already looking forward to that one.

Been playing around with a few shots! Hopefully the colours are ok, my laptop monitor aint the best for colour...
