Eastside Cruisers

Ok guys I have been looking into this one and I have an option.
It’s not an official weigh bridge but it is calibrated to within 20kgs. So you can use the reading legally or anything.

We would have to have a Sunday afternoon cruise to Coldstream leaving Bayswater at 3.30pm to be at Coldstream by 4pm. This is due to it’s a transfer station and I have done a deal with the people who run it.

So we would regroup out the front then proceed to the weight where one person records the cars rego and the weight. The driver/passengers would have to get out obviously. Then we could cruise down to the Coldstream brewery for a beer and pizza.

How does that sound?

Sounds like a good plan, scales within 20kg are close enough for us I would think. With my old VT SS I had it on COME Racing's race scales which gave exact readings per corner but that's a bit of overkill for what we're after.

The pizza afterwards sounds good too, stupid question though, do they sell drinks other than beer at a brewery as I don't drink the stuff...

yeh pretty sure they have a Tap Water.....

My XB was 1840kg before we put it on a diet, now who knows.

Man, 1800kg+ guys, that's some serious weight.

I weighed my LX many years ago at Pick-A-Part and it came in at 1400kg without me in it. I can't remember how full my 120litre tank was though - I reckon it was about half full. I've changed lots since then... different extractors and exhaust system, convertor (from a 12" down to like a 10.5" or something), fuel systems, wheels & tyres (from big fat Hotwires to light-weight Convo's), different stereo (no amp now) etc etc. I know it's only minor stuff, but I'm itching to re-weigh it, with a minimum amount of fuel on-board, maybe 20 litres.... my aim is to get under 1400kg.
