Eastside Cruisers

Well folks its that time to start organising Deca day again, so i thought I would start a new section.
There is a lot of planning and help required for this event so we are looking at starting a deca sub committee.
I will be heading up the team with Moffo and Grant already putting their hands.

There are plenty of jobs to do so even if you have never been to a ESC Deca Day your help is more than welcomed.

I will starting looking at some dates next week of when we can have it but we are hoping for May.

As per last year, you have to be an Eastside member to enter this event..

Sounds like a good weekend and I'm sure I'll enjoy the skid pan.

Do most people stay up there on the Saturday night and make a weekend of it?

For the last couple of years quite a lot of people have been staying the Saturday night at Victoria Lake Holiday Park in Shepparton. Some people even head up early on the Friday and stay 2 nights. It's usually a fair bit of fun!



Brett - if you've never been on a skidpan before you will love it! It's seriously the best fun I've had in my car. The courses themselves are great fun.... but the 'Expression Sessions' where you get to be creative are sensational too. Getting your car onto such a large skidpan as DECA really is the best way to learn and push your limits, without fear of hitting anything. You see a lot of big grins at DECA

DC - are you guys running a 1-day or a 2-day event this year?

At this stage its up for discussion as last year we didnt get enough people to cover cost.
We will be discussing this at the committee meeting on Wednesday night.

DC if your looking for help, I'm happy to help out on the days up there. Its always a great event, hopefully we can get enough interest to run a 2 day event.

Deeps you could be the man to introduce a new event for deca - think up a new track!
