Eastside Cruisers

Hey all,

As voted on at the November meeting we have changed the venue we hold our general meeting to the Ferntree Gully Foot Ball/Cricket Club club rooms located at Ferntree Gully Reserve also known as Wally Tew reserve (Melways Ref 74 B5) enter off Glenfern Rd. Refer to attached Google map screen shot.

Just to reiterate, the move has been brought about to save the club room hire costs which were $1,100.00 per year. The Ferntree Gully Foot Ball and Cricket Clubs have both offered us the use of their club rooms at $0 cost, they will make their money over the bar (which are at great prices), so do not BYO, support the clubs that are supporting Eastside Cruisers.

The meeting time or day of the month has not changed so see you all at our new home at 8pm on Tuesday the 24th.

After the club birthday party we attended last year, I really like the new venue.

Awesome stuff! That venue is awesome and the club colors are pretty much the same as ours so it already feels like home.

P.S. Can we get a spot to display trophies etc there? We need somewhere to show off the silverware from Summernats and any other ones that the club has accumulated over the years.

due to being unable to use footy club
the footy club is un interested in us continuing with them next year and unable to support us this last meeting due to cleaning floorsdo not go to footy club next tuesday

It was a good setup while it lasted but atleast for now we have a reliable venue to continue holding the meetings.

We will need to change this info on the homepage as well !!
