Organisers of the highly successful Valvoline Autofest Car Festivals are proud to announce the inclusion of Street Machine Magazine as its official Media Partner for the all new Melbourne event to be known as the "Melbourne Performance Showdown" that is to be staged at the iconic Melbourne Showgrounds from February 8th and 9th 2014.

Street Machine Magazine is a major player within the Australian Motoring Industry and will add a high prestige to the Melbourne Performance Showdown with promotions of the Melbourne as well as the Bathurst Autofest events, in which it is also the Media Partner, both events will be promoted throughout the year within the publication to the Australasian public.

This event will cover all aspects of the Australian Performance Car Scene with Trader information booths from some of the most Recognised names within the industry to High Performance events such as the side by side Action of the Heads Go To Whoa event and let's see who does really does have Melbourne's most Powerful car when its proved on the onsite Dyno Comp. Other events will include the Mayhem that is the Mighty Burnout Competition as well as the judging of the Streetcar and Showcar Supreme.

Melbourne has been missing a true Performance Car Event for far too long and the Autofest Crew have searched high and low to find such a location and were fortunate to meet with the Melbourne
Showgrounds Management and after much deliberation an agreement between the two parties for this event to be staged was reached.

The Valvoline Autofest Series was established in Shepparton Vic by a group of motoring enthusiast’s back in 1990 for the benefit of the region’s clubs and motor sport lovers and it quickly grew in popularity where today it is one of the largest Motorsport Series of its kind in Australia. The series has been proved to be a considerable boost to the local economy’s wherever visited.

OK all of the 2013-2014 Autofest Series of events Entrant Forms are now posted at www.autofest.com.au so if you want to be part of the Action get yourselves sorted by either filling your Entrant Form online or by downloading one.

NOTE! Our Melbourne Event "FULL" Entrant numbers are limited to just 300 so if you plan to go to this event best you get in nice and early or risk missing out.
Indoor Show Entrants are also advised to get in early as this too will operate as a first in best dressed policy.

Entrant forms are going out next week so if you're not on the mailing list let us know your details and we will include you in this list. Don't forget that you can also enter all Autofest events online at www.autofest.com.au You can even book and pay for your camping and garages there as well.

Plenty of enquiry is coming in on our Melbourne event not only from entrants but especially from traders and exhibitors wanting to also be part of this event, because of this we are extending the exhibition area to cover those wanting to participate so if you are a business or supplier wishing more information on this then simply contact us.

Plans are well under way with the celebrations of the 21st Shepparton Springnats and believe me many will be surprised when we start to roll out information on these as the event gets closer.

MPW Dyno Shootout

We are pleased to announce that Melbourne Performance Warehouse are the official dyno event partners for the upcoming Shepparton and Melbourne events that are part of the Valvoline Autofest Performance Car Festivals.

The “MPW Dyno Shootout” will be conducted at both of the Valvoline Autofest Performance Car Festival events, commencing at this year’s Springnats in Shepparton Victoria, on the 22nd – 24th November 2013 and then at our all new event the "Melbourne Performance Showdown" that will be staged at the Melbourne Showground on February 8th and 9th 2014.

The Valvoline Autofest Series welcomes the inclusion of MPW into its stable of Events and look forward in working with MPW to further strengthen this ever popular category within the Series.

Huge couple of weeks coming up for the Autofest Crew, first we head off to Mount Gambier for the 36th running of Australia's longest running Street Machine show at the Mount Gambier Autofest & Show N Shine then just TWO WEEKS later we Rock into the Melbourne Showground for the 1st ever Melbourne Performance Showdown complete with all the usual Autofest activities right in the heart of the City.

We then finish of the 2013 2014 season at none other then the Home Of Australian Motorsport at the would famous Mount Panorama Race Track with the 3rd running of the ever popular Bathurst Valvoline Autofest on march 8th and 9th and it doesn't get any better then having the opportunity of playing our style at this iconic circuit.
