Just thought i would share my experiance with a body roll problem i had once i started to go faster,

As you will notice in pics engine loves to twist the whole car putting all its weight onto one rear wheel. wich can be very dangerous if you loose traction on the left wheel.





So to cure this i insalled a Anti-roll Kit By Mc donald Brothers. The kit definatly works but was a headace to install.
the main bar is solid and runs between two bearings, then two solid alloy arms bolt to it and attach two the diff via adjustable rods, This alows the suspention to freely move up and down but will not allow one side to squat. ( Thus keeping weight on both rear tyres) And with the adjustable rods you can adjust the preload on the side you want.







The kit is suppost to be good for a few tenths down the quater becouse when you car lifts and twists it looses its momentem. It also stoped a bad axle tramping issue i was having when doing top gear power skids,

A few cheaper ways to acheve a simular result is either a air bag or pump up shock on the drivers rear, But both of these will limit the ability of the cars arse end to squat down wich increases traction.

My car has a different issue to yours where it has no body roll at all but has heaps of squat on launch which also makes it lose forward momentum. I'm looking at some point to run a stiffer spring in the rear with air bags to stop the squat and keep the tyres squarer on the ground.

So dave what trailing arms are you using and are they running rose joints i've been looking for some for the Q but not that much around

They are adjustable tubular lower trailing arms From Mc donald brothers, I only use them becouse i run very tall tyres in the rear and needed to roll diff back 20mm to stop tyres rubbing on dog leg. And at the same time my tailshaft was 20 mm too long due moveing engine back, and i wanded to drop pinion angle. So it was a win win win situation. Unless you need to do the same i wouldnt use them, They can work them selves loose with lots of cornering, I had to put locktight on the lock nuts. And my anti rollkit also stoped the movement around corners that works them loose. If i had my time again id just get the lowers made to length i wanted and then use adjustable uppers. to alter pinion angle.

suspension at the track is a complicated issue
lots of info on squatt as well as anti squatt
becareful how much squatt you want, remembering not one fast car out there, squatts, they all have anti squatt to drive the tyre into the bitchumen.

stiff spring and this anti roll bar will help lots, soft springs absorb energy and reduce pressure between tyre and road.

Thanks for that info Andrew, it was a good read. Hopefully one day I can get my suspension setup better than it currently is as it squats way too much and I'm sure that it's slowing me down. Here is a pic of how much squat my car has currently:
