Well, we had our first ever cruise today and it all went well. We gathered at our meeting point at 11:30am (Club Kilsyth), and patiently awaited the arrival of our president whose car had let him down. With his car being towed home on a flatbed, we decided that being so close we would go and meet him. Once that was all sorted, we were away. The conditions were… ordinary to say the least. The sky actually fell in whilst we cruised across the top of the Dandenongs, making for some interesting driving antics!! Once back at our final destination, the Tim Neville Arboretum and Amphitheatre in Boronia, we fired up the barbeques, and had a feed and a chat. Thankfully the rain held out! A big thank-you to all those who braved the cold and wet to bring their cars out. We took a few pics. All up there were 13 cars on the cruise, with a few extras meeting us at the final destination. - Simon |
