We had a surprise of 15 odd cars when we got to Club Kilsyth on the day. The weather had been pretty bad in the lead-up, however it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. Shubes explained that today’s run was going to be a laid back event with no run instruction list – instead we were just going to make it up as we went along. Our first stop was the old Top Shots car park. Unfortunately Paul didn’t quite make it there, something about a broken axle less than 20 metres into the cruise and then a three hour wait for a tow truck. (Is there a “Hard-luck” award for a photo shoot??). Camera’s started clicking away as soon as we got there - we did some group shots in different arrangements and then decided to move on to our next location. From there it was on to the Tran’s Diff car park where we did individual shots and more group shots of all the cars that were there. For those that have seen some of the pic’s from Shubes they came out awesome! Our day was completed by a cruise, finishing for lunch at Daisy’s in Ringwood. Great chance for a quick chat and a feed.
