Mystery “Two Turn” Night Cruise

27th July 2005

It was a cold, drizzly Wednesday night, a night that most people would stay indoors with the heater cranked but not the Eastside Cruisers. Approx 25 people turned out for Schubert’s Mystery Cruise. All we knew was that it would be a short 30min cruise with a warm destination at the end for food. At 7.30pm we all gathered round, with tummies rumbling to hear the instructions. We were heading to Sofia’s in Croydon for dinner and we only had two turns! Did I hear right? Schubert had definitely catered this cruise for me! The rain held off in the end, so we all jumped into our cars, cranked the heaters and were on our way. By the time we got to Sofia’s my tummy was definitely rumbling along with everyone else. Everyone sat down to good food (even though a couple of orders got mixed up – garlic bread anyone?), and great conversation. I know everyone will agree it was a great night had by all. Now if only all cruises were this easy!!!!
