On the 19th Feb we all piled into our cars for yet another early morning run. This time we were off to Werribee Zoo to see all of the animals. We met at Club Kilsyth at around 9am with around 10 or more cars and headed off nice and early. Schubert peeled off on the last exit before the toll way for city link and Andrew drove all the way out there got out of his car and said goodbye jumped back in and drove away? The rest of us headed into the zoo where we booked straight on to a bus tour. The tour took us around the main attractions of the park to see all of the animals. We followed this up with a nice picnic lunch with everyone. The day went very smoothly besides one small incorrect turn on the way in there by all of us, and the fact that there were no elephants… hehe. All who came seemed to enjoy the day thanks again to Liz for organizing the day. - Kath (LOLION) |
