Here it comes again - the annual All Ford Day at Geelong. We all met up at the Shell servo on the corner of Maroondah and Springvale for munchies and a 7.30am depart. I was in my Dads turbo XR6 Ute with a mate, Deeps in his ride with a mate and James Mac had a car full in his XR6 and off we went on our way to Geelong… Once the day got up and going there was a fair variety of Fords there, ranging from the all American Mustangs to the F100’s and also Ford Probes and not to mention the Falcons - both old and new. I attended the day last year and in comparison this year I’d reckon it was a bit bigger. It was nice to see some popular cars from last year still in good nick to return this year, also to see some fresh oldies as well as new Falcons. I know the Ute that was in got a few looks and shots but after the speeding ticket incident I’ll gladly hand back the keys till next year. At least the weather on the day suited the outdoor activity and after all - the photo album did come home a little fatter also. Till next time, - Gav |
