Well this was a MASSIVE turnout and everyone I spoke to had a ball!!! So many good cars were brought out and there was some new people and cars that we hadn’t seen before! Even EHLIMO made an appearance! There were a total of 41 cars and at least 70 odd people were in attendance. Given the time of year and the nature of the roads we were going to entail; I gave the crowd of cruisers a big rev up speech about cruising responsibly and just enjoying the cruise! After that we left Bayswater just after 8pm, and headed up towards the mountains, where some killer view were enjoyed as the sunset went down, absolutely magic. We then wound our way along the Tourist Road, I was leading a pack of 30 odd cars; man did it look fantastic cruising along the twisties! Lights blazing! We had to change the regroup spot as the original spot would not of accommodated this number of cars, so the Silvan Dam look-out in Kalorama was used where we filled up the car park and then 10 or so other cars had to park on the other side of the road. It was a good opportunity for every one to chew the fat and get acquainted for a while. Back on the road and the group was split up to reduce the congestion on the tight Inverness Rd! The two groups made their way into the Lake View estate in Lilydale where we turned LOTS of heads on the cruise circuit!!! There were so many cars that by the time the first lot had completed the circuit and were coming back, the tail-enders were passing them the opposite way, it was fantastic! Felt like a super-cruise!! After that, it was off to Lilydale Lake to park where we spoke some more bollocks about cars. Some of us who stayed on, suddenly realised it was getting close to 11pm so we thought we better go home! It was such a good atmosphere, with every one well behaved and in party mood. The weather was awesome and it was a perfect opportunity to catch up with every one before Christmas...
