There was a massive turnout of members for the Eastside Cruisers 2006 Christmas BBQ at Morrison Reserve in Mt Evelyn, which turned out to be a great venue with a nice grassy patch for all to park their rides and show them off, it was almost like having our very own mini car show. I brought my whole clan for the shindig, the kids really enjoyed the large playground and making new little friends. Jodie, my wife, also enjoyed the day and found the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. The Petrol Head Gods must have been smiling on us that day and provided us with perfect weather for the event with only a scattering of clouds and not a drop of rain for the whole afternoon. What can I say about Santa? Bloody great job James! But, I can honestly say I don't think you fooled any of the kids! Although, you may of turned on a couple of the ladies with your off the shoulder number hahaha, you are a true Legend Mate!!! BTW, I loved your slay (HJ Ute!). Unfortunately I had to leave just as the physical activities began so I'm not sure who took the honours for the starter motor throw and the spark plug change, but congrats to the winners. What else can I say about the day.......... the food was top notch, the company and conversation was second to none, all in all it could not have been better if I put it on myself! Hee, hee! I would like to congratulate all contributing Committee Members and Club Members on making the 2006 Christmas bash highly enjoyable and a successful event.
