Summer is over, and so is the good weather, but that wont stop us now. The cruise looked fairly dim early on, cold night, mid week, right between Easter and the Drag Day, recipe for low numbers I thought. I was wrong…….. 24 cars showed for the meet at Bunnings Bayswater. Heading off down Bayswater, Ferntree Gully and Jells roads we cruised all the way down Wellington and North roads to Beach road. Along Beach road through Brighton, Hampton, Sandringham, Black Rock, Mentone, Parkdale, Mordialloc and Aspendale. From there we hooked left and headed back towards home. Up Edithvale road and across via Heatherton road to Stud road. Back home via Mountain Hwy and Bayswater where we finished at Anaconda carpark for a chat. Great to see such a good turnout, and lots of new cars and new faces. - Dave J. |
