Meeting at Bunnings car park at 7:30pm, it was flat out freezing. The cold kept a few of the usual suspects away, but about 15 of us diehards stuck it out and had a ball anyway. We headed off up Dorset road at about 8:00 and trundled through the backstreets of Croydon and Chirnside Park to Lyons road and Jumping Creek road. There certainly was a long stream of headlights, running along the narrow and twisty roads of the Warrandyte backblocks. Out through Donvale and onto Springvale road. Down Springvale road and onto Canterbury to get us home. A simple short and sweet cruise with stuff all traffic and no traumas. Mention should be made of a display put on for us by a local, cruising both sides of Canterbury road, outside Anaconda, with an alternate style of dragging, which was quite spectacular.
