Three members, plus two possible new members, met at Garfield's at 7.15am and departed at 7.30 for a cruise in convoy, to Deakin Uni for the All Ford Day. Enjoyed a great drive down, until a "traffic jam" approx 1 km from entry. Didn't take long to enter though, and we were soon at Eastside Cruisers designated spot. Picked up our "show bags" containing the Jan issue of Just Cars, some stickers and Shannons paraphernalia. Then the start of checking out the multitude of models of Ford cars on display. The total of vehicles there must have been over 1000, give or take a few. As the day was quite warm, it necessitated a partial circuit of the area, take a break, then continue again. We ended up with James coming in later, which meant a total of six cars at our site - Paul & Tam's XY, James' EB XR6, my Fairlane, Steve's EF, plus the 2 EB's.
