This was yet another extremely well planned and run night cruise by Dale. After pretty much the biggest Knox Car Show yet, once again we met up afterwards off Burwood Highway, with a gigantic line of cars ready to cruise. A last minute direction change was made in an attempt to keep the cars from splitting up - but there were too many to stay grouped together, and we were split up into several smaller groups. Riding passenger for once in Deb's EH, I got to enjoy a brewski or two along the way. It was excellent cruising amongst some new cars this month - one in particular which really grabbed my attention was Rob's VG Hardtop Val - with it's brand new flamed paint job and big diameter 'bling' rims. (Anyone who has not seen it since the previous DECA Days - you are in for a surprise!!!). Anyway, the cruise route was Dale's best yet!! We found ourselves heading towards Mitcham which is when the cruise got real good - heading up Park Road in Donvale we followed it all the way to Warrandyte Ringwood Rd (some awesome cruising roads)…. This continued on until we got to Ringwood - a few more turns and we finished up at Anaconda - and yep, we weren't the only club finishing up there again! I think we turned a few heads as we rumbled in with our collection of various makes and models. - Brett |
