Hi guys, just a brief write up of my day on the Dam, Dam, Dam cruise. In a nut shell fantastic, met at Club Ringwood for a 10:30/11am departure. Had my new truck there towing the 'Tori BBQ'. Our first stop was at Sugarloaf Dam which is the main water supply for Northern and Western Victoria, was a great view off the gigantic shed like building protruding from the side of the reservoir, and it was bloody cold too. Off we headed to the next Dam, for another look at some more water, couldn't see too much due to the fact we were parked in the bottom car park but nobody minded due to the fact that we were all starving. On our way to the last Dam, Cardinia and I was getting more and more excited, was drooling thinking about eating my Lamb and Cheese Rissoles. Once arrived at Cardinia Dam I quickly parked my Ute, got the Barbie fired up and started cooking with my hands and a Gatorade bottle, Deb and Brett had the cooking utensils and hung back along with some other helpers to help Clive the poor bugger, who burst a heater hose on his way in the Fairlane. Some beers were had and lots of car talk, as expected was discussed. A great cruise, everyone was well behaved and would love to participate again hopefully around summer time. - Stormy |
