Eastside Cruisers

Hi guys,

I was on the Rare Spares website last night, and discovered that some changes are coming up for the club discount we all get. In the past, we just had to show our club keyring to get the discount.

But now, club members need to individually apply for a loyalty card, which they must show in order to get the discount. In order to get one of these cards, they must first be verified as a legitimate club member. (This is done by the club committee nominating an Administrator to accept or reject submissions as per the current member list).

Does anyone on the committee know more about this? Who is the Administrator?

I applied last night as a General Member, and Eastside Cruisers were already listed as a club, so someone has obviously set something up.

Matty - can you put an article for this into the next newsletter?

Hmmmm, I got no idea! LOL! Someone mentioned it at the committee meeting, but I don't think anything was followed up...

I have been getting a few random emails from rare spares and ive forwarded them onto grant to chase up!!

Yep, I brought it up at the committee meeting, nothing has been done at this point. I'd say Rare Spares have just created clubs in their new system from past dealings.

I didn't know about the appointed committee member as Administrator... we will have discuss further in the committee meeting and have someone volunteer to be the Administrator.

Well, I just had a good look at the new Rare Spares website... They actually are decently priced these days compared to eBay shops (And they have better frieght)

Has anyone chased this up yet? I might send an email to that Matthew Lazzaro and find out who our "Contact" is...

I have sorted this one out now.

So when you sign up, we can now approve you so you can get the discount via the online store...

Spend up as well! We are very close to be able to buy some exciting products for the club!

Great work Matt, this is good news. Deb already received her member tag cos she has been registered under the EH Club... I'm still hanging out to receive mine!

So are you the new administrator for this?

Are you able to tell us what the spending thresholds are for the club getting rewards etc? (eg. after we spent $5,000 we got the free banner)... what's next?

Yeh, well you are on the approved list of members Brett, so you should get your Tag any day now!

I've set it up so the Club email account is emailed when any new member signs up... Then we just log onto their site and approve the member.

We are sitting on just under 10,000 Points at the moment... Not sure how many points you get for each dollar spent though.

There is a huge range of products available though, Club Shirts, Big Esky's, Club Chairs, Marquees etc etc. All with Eastsides Name and Logo printed on them!
